UEL takes a zero tolerance approach to any form of bullying or harassment.

The Dignity Advisor Network is a core group of staff that can provide support, be a listening ear and signpost to relevant reporting processes. They create a more supportive and less daunting environment for both students and staff.

Dignity Advisors will have a purely advisory role and will not be counselling or behaving as an advocate in any capacity. They will explain the process of the formal stages of the reporting procedure but will not be in attendance at any of these meetings.

Information on bullying and harassment training is available for staff on the EDI training page.

Alongside the Dignity Advisors, there is also a  Mediation Service for UEL Staff .

The Dignity at Work and Study Policy provides more context in better understanding UEL's Dignity at Work and Study.

The Dignity Advisors can be contacted through dignity@uel.ac.uk. For a list of our currently trained Dignity Advisors, please check the intranet page  here .
